Your standard rules and know hows. Please follow my dear people.
1.
To make it clear, we are perfectly OK with first person and third person roleplaying. You are free to choose which ever is most comfortable to you.
2.
Be respectful and caring to other members. I think everyone would agree that we all just want to have fun. I do not want to see someone make fun or bully someone for their beliefs, sexuality, race, or roleplaying skill. This is different from arguing in character, but let's keep it in character, OK? If you are being bullied, please PM me about it, or other staff. You will be given one warning, the next, you'll be banned. I don't know if it'll be permanent yet, or what. But just don't do it.
3.
Do not powerplay. Powerplaying is when you roleplay someones character for them. If you are given permission, that is of course a different case, but you can't do something like, "Sly kissed her, and she responded positively and the two continued to make out." You don't know if the other person would have liked their character to be kissed.
4.
A maximum of 4 characters is allowed. This doesn't mean you need to have four characters, go with as much you can handle. The reason it is limited, is because you might create ten characters and then not be able to keep track of them, or only end up roleplaying two of them. Also, to add to this, you can only roleplay one characters perspective in a thread, it can get too confusing if your flip flopping between three characters in one thread.
5.
Do not godmod. Godmodding is making your character perfect at everything. Don't make your person the best archer in camp and that no one can or ever will beat them in Archery. This is just annoying and makes your character flat.
6.
You can only have one child of a Big Three God. Those are spots lots of people want, and it's unfair if you have a Jupiter, Neptune AND Pluto kid when others would love to have a character in that spot.
7.
Do not post in a (Closed) thread. It's posted closed for a reason. This can just annoy the posters, who had finished everything up by then and are done with the thread, not having anything to do with it anymore.
8.
Do not post one sentence posts when roleplaying. I know I get annoyed when I type up three paragraphs and I get a measly one or two sentence reply back. Try to at least get a paragraph in but three to four sentences will do. This is to ensure the thread is moving along productively, and that everyone stays satisfied. If possible, try to match the posters before yours post length. It's much appreciated.
9.
Although this ties in with the no bullying rule, do not make fun of someones roleplaying skill. Tips are much appreciated, but making fun is no acceptable. This site is for ALL roleplaying levels, and is for chilled back fun. You'll be given three warnings, and will be banned after that.
10.
Only four Big Three children are allowed at one time. This is to ensure that there isn't 10 Jupiter kids, 11 Neptune, and 15 Pluto and none of the others. If you are inactive for more than two months without giving any reason of absence, the spot will become open.
11.
Being in multiple threads at one, also known as liquid time is actually encouraged, therefore allowed. We want your characters to get out there! And being restricted to one post at a time, I find, is bothersome.
12.
When wanting to talk out of character (OOC) in a post in a roleplay thread, either place what you want to say in (brackets) or OOC: type here
If more rules/guidelines are thought up, I'll be sure to notify!
